WHAT IS MANADO?
Manado is the Capital City of North Sulawesi province of Indonesia, located on the Manado
Bay surrounded by beautiful mountains. As the gateway to the region, serviced by the
International Airport it is an ideal entry point to Indonesia and offers outstanding potential to
experience the culture, ecology, and fantastic scenery of the region.

Famed as a center for some of the best diving sites in the world, Manado offers all the
facilites needed to experience the wonders beneath of the sea. Scuba diving and snorkeling
around the nearby island of Bunaken are supported by many dive schools with full
professional accreditation.

Further inland ecotourism opportunities extend into the lush mountains hiding a series of
volcanoes and lakeswith an abundance of unique wildlife and the potential to discover the
different ethnic groups of the local "Minahasa" people.

Manado is not only an emerging destination as a tourism destination, but as a business hub

sectors.

A tropical climate offering a mean temperature of 32 celcius degree in the day and 24 celcius
degree at night, with pleasant sea breezes, makes Manado the perfect place to spend

In early May, the weather is normally sunny, where the temperature is around 27-30°C.


HOW TO GET TO MANADO
There is an International Airport in Manado that is Sam Ratulangi Airport. To get Manado via
Sam Ratulangi Airport from foreign countries, there are three ways:

  1. By Silk Air Flight depart from Changi International Airport, Singapore.
  2. Any Flight depart from Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar-Bali.
  3. Any Flight depart from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta.
